Chez Josef Wedding Photography with Shannon and Kevin
Welcome back to my blog, we have another spectacular wedding for you! Today we are bringing you the winner of the 2018 Marx Dream Wedding, Shannon, and Kevin.
Let’s find out about their amazing Chez Josef Wedding Photography!
My brother had just purchased his first home so we were there visiting/celebrating. My whole family was there and as we were all hanging out in the same room Kevin handed my dad his phone and told him to record. He got down on one knee and proposed. It was perfect.
Everything was perfect!! Although we were so nervous that we forgot our first dance, it was still one of my favorite moments. Seeing Kevin for the first time before I came down the stairs just made my heart pound, it was amazing!! I remember at one point I sat back and looked around at everyone who was there. They were laughing and smiling, dancing and drinking, and having so much fun. It just took my breath away, they were all there to celebrate us.
You will not have much time to mingle so one thing we did to make sure we were able to thank each and every person for being there was go around to each table while the dinner salad was served and give everybody a hug, said thank you’s and what not. That way once everybody had their dinner they were able to just sit down and eat. Enjoy every little second because it goes by way too fast! Also be prepared with things for your child (if you have a toddler). Our three year old was overwhelmed with the whole experience, if we did not invite some other little friends for her to play with it would have been horrible. She ended up having a fantastic night once she could just be with her little friends. So that is one thing, if you have a toddler that you plan on having in your wedding be sure that you have other toddlers coming and arrange for an early departure for them.
If you have a little toddler that you plan on having in the photos be prepared for them to not want to cooperate. I am a bit sad that my daughter was having a hard time but very glad that we got her in a few photos. If you are having a night wedding definitely do outdoor photos once it is dark. We had such a great time taking these photos And they looked AMAZING!!
I found it at the Bridal and Tux Boutique in Miller’s falls Ma. I tried on so many dresses and this one just gave me that feeling that you can’t deny. I knew it was the dress but I knew I needed to add a personal touch. I had the little shoulder Sleeves made for it and tule added underneath to give the bottom a bit more drama. When I put this dress on right before I walked down the aisle I almost lost it, in a good way. My knees buckled, it was absolutely perfect!
It was so incredible working with you! We are so lucky to have had you as our photographer. You’re so talented and passionate about what you do and it shows. You went above and beyond in capturing our special day, we were both so blown away! I could not stop smiling when I saw you photographing us all dancing together, these memories are so special and now we have them to look at for the rest of our life. Thank you and your partner Leslie so much for all your hard work , we look forward to working with you again in the future.
- Bridal and tux boutique is where I got my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, and veil. Danielle, the owner, was absolutely amazing! She bent over backward to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and everything ready in time, I highly recommend her1
All of the vendors we worked with were so great. Chez Josef, where the ceremony and reception were held was perfect. The food was so good and the space was incredible! The entire staff was incredible and we needed nothing! Marx entertainment made this whole wedding possible. The Dj was fantastic and kept the whole place rocking all night. The photo booth with props was such a hit also. They provided everyone a photo strip to take home and one for a wedding guest book, it was awesome! Tanya Costigan, our wedding planner was a dream, we couldn’t have done it without her. She pulled everything together so perfectly, I have no complaints only compliments. Pops biscotti did such delicious chocolates, tre olive donated olive oils for favors that everyone loved, deluxe limo was gorgeous and so much fun, bill from center square grill donated an entire rehearsal dinner for 20 of us that was phenomenal….I could go on and on all night talking about our vendors. We are beyond grateful for everything and would be happy to share more if you have any specific questions for us about any of them!

Hadley Farms Meeting House Wedding Photography with Ashley and Joe
Hi guys welcome back to the blog where I have another wonderful wedding from a local wedding venue Hadley Farms Meeting House.
For more information about Hadley Farms Meeting House Wedding Photography make sure to contact Brenda Lee by clicking this link.
Let’s hear from Ashley some of the details of the wedding.
We met in October of 2006. Ashley was a sophomore and Joe was a freshman at Chicopee High School. We met at Friday night football game at Szot Park in Chicopee through mutual friends. Most of our communication took place through AIM (now extinct!!) because we didn’t have any classes together. We started dating on December 9, 2006 and have been inseparable ever since.
We had just purchased our first home together on November 28 of 2016. Little did Ashley know, Joe had been planning to propose from that moment. It was on December 11, 2017 that he popped the question. Joe had planned to do it two nights prior, but Ashley was just not cooperating; she had other plans for the weekend and kept Joe on his toes, even forcing him to take the ring with him to Walmart! Finally, on Sunday night, right before his hockey game, Joe told Ashley to be quiet for just a minute (she hadn’t stopped all weekend!). He got down on one knee in the middle of the kitchen and asked Ashley to marry him. To his and her surprise (Ashley had no idea this was going to happen!), Ashley said ‘Thank You!’. She was so shocked she forgot to say Yes!! After the excitement and Joe asking again, she finally said ‘Yes”.
Stay organized and in touch with everyone involved. You’d be surprised who wants to/ is willing to help with anything to plan your big day.
Find someone you’re comfortable with!! You want to enjoy the day without having to worry about capturing memories on your own, so make sure the photographer you decide on knows what you want and are willing to do it. Greg was amazing!!
Cakes by Amanda- 16 Cat Alley, Barre, MA 01005; (978) 257-4136; https://www.facebook.com/CustomCakesbyAmanda/ -Flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla marble cake with a ‘tuxedo filling’—chocolate ganache and cream cheese with delicious cream cheese frosting. -The cake was the best we’ve ever tasted! It literally melted in your mouth! The design was simple, but went along with our theme perfectly. Amanda customized one tier to look like a white birch tree (our theme) with our initials carved in. The other tiers were whimsical ruffles to give depth, but simplicity to not take away from the focus of the birch tier.
AMAZING!! You were so easy going and relaxed. It made the experience so easy for us. We aren’t ones that like to pose for photos, but you made it feel natural, like we didn’t need to pose. We were able to be ourselves without feeling uncomfortable.
Don’t sweat the small stuff. In the end, the day is about your relationship and becoming husband and wife. Make sure you enjoy the entire process and communicate with one another the entire time!

Lord Jeffery Inn Wedding Photography with Tammy and Steve.
I’ve got another fabulous wedding for you guys today! The happy couple consists of Tammy and Steve, two people that were surrounded by love.
You could really tell their wedding was all about family. Let here about their wedding straight from Tammy.
He took me to Race Point at Cape Cod the day after Christmas 2016. Race Point is a very special place for our family. We have vacationed there for many years. It was a cold December day on the beach. We got bundled up and went out looking for sea glass on the beach. As you can imagine it was pretty deserted. We meandered along separately for a bit. He then comes up to me with his hands cupped and said “look at the piece of sea glass I found”. As I look over to him he gets down on one knee and proposes! It was absolutely perfect. We then decided to head into P – Town to find a spot for dinner. As we are briskly walking down the street to find something open it occurs to me how magical the town was that evening…December 26th streets are empty, its cold, the signs above the stores squeaking in the breeze, very few places open. We find an open piano bar and quickly duck in out of the cold. In our excitement we tell our story to the bartender and the sole customer sitting at the bar. We cheer in celebration! It was perfect and made a place already very special to our hearts even more special.
Having the family together. Ours was a marriage of two families coming together after 12 years. All of our adult children and grandchildren participated in the ceremony. It was about all of us not just Steve and I.
Our overall wedding experience was amazing. I had a fabulous 10 months planning our special day. I enjoyed every second of it. The venue and all of the vendors were top notch / best in class. I can’t say enough good things about all of them….Lord Jefferies, Greg Moss Photography Shaw Santanello (Viren Entertainment), Forget me not florist, and JP- Mikki Viereck.
Give thought to what your trying to capture in pictures and communicate it to your photographer. There were specific pictures, moments in time that I wanted Greg to capture. Not only was he able to capture every shot on our list but he was able to capture the emotion of the moment and some very special candid shots.
Okay, let’s get to the pictures! Tammy and Steve were such a delight to work with and I wish them many wonderful years to come.
Let’s check out Lord Jeffery Inn Wedding Photography!

Salem Cross Inn Wedding Photography
I’ve got another stunning wedding for you guys today! The gorgeous couple consists of Erica and Ryan, two people that anyone would love to know.
The wedding ceremony and reception were both at the beautiful Salem Cross Inn. They danced to their first song Crazy Girl – Eli Young Band, which was played by DJ Dave Solmine from Good Times Unlimited.
VeLace bridal in bellingham. I didn’t even want to try it on but the sales associate encouraged me to try everything while I was there. I’m so glad I did as soon as I walked out and showed my bridesmaids, mom + mother in law they all could tell by my face this was the one!!
Greg and his assistant were AMAZING!! He kept things going and let us enjoy our time and day but captured every moment that we wanted. The photos came out incredible and I am so lucky to have these memories forever.
I highly recommend a first look for many reasons!!!!1. I was SO nervous because I do not like attention on me at all, so seeing Ryan before completely calmed me down.2. It was such a time saver and we got to enjoy cocktail hour and use that time to say hi to friends and family! and3. Because it was September we were worried about the sun set which would have us miss out on photos that we truly wanted.
Things will go wrong, but you no matter what it always works out!
