Kristina and Sean’s Lord Jeffery Inn Wedding Photography

Let’s hear from Kristina about their big day and the details of how they came to be together.

How did you two meet?

Sean and I met at one of my friend’s parties, just after I finished my first year of grad school. Neither one of us wanted to go out that night, but my friend convinced me and one of his friends dragged him along. We got to talking and hit it off right away. We didn’t even realize we were both single until the night was half over! He gave me his number and the rest is history.

How did he pop the question?

Sean took me up to Howe Caverns in upstate New York. We had been talking about going for a while so I didn’t suspect anything. When we were at the Heart Stone, he dropped to one knee (I thought he tripped and fell, at first) and asked me to be his wife. We were the first cavern tour of the day so it was a small, intimate group that witnessed it.

What was your favorite moment(s) from the wedding?

Sean: Watching Kristina walk down the aisle to meet me.

Kristina: Seeing Sean’s smile when he saw me for the first time. He was really adamant about not wanting a first look; he wanted to be surprised.

How was your experience taking photos/working with me on your wedding day?

Kristina: I am not one that likes my picture taken. We had our engagement shoot with Greg, which I think was very helpful in getting me acclimated to both Greg and the camera; it gave me an idea of what to expect for the day of the wedding. Greg made me feel very comfortable just being myself and he found a way to capture every special moment without being intrusive. There were times I couldn’t even tell he was there, which took away some of my nervousness. He was also very patient with all of the family members that wanted to get in on the action. Greg was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a photographer!

Venue: The Lord Jeffery Inn, Amherst MA – Amanda, Jeff, Sarah, and the rest of the team at the Lord Jeff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. Everything was coordinated beautifully, and the kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ food allergies.
