Felicia and Jake’s Aqua Turf Club Wedding.
Hi gang! Welcome back to my blog.
I always love photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Felicia and Jake’s wedding, either!
The wedding and reception were at the Aqua Turf Club. They danced to their first song All of me – John Legend , which was played by DJ Baltazar.
The bride’s dress was seriously gorgeous, too. And I’m not just saying that!
“I bought my dress from Kleinfelds in NYC. It was Eve of Milady. It was the first dress I tried on!”
We had a lot of fun taking wedding pictures, as well. They decided to not see each other until Felicia was walking down the aisle. The emotion we captured in Jake and in Felicia’s son, was truly priceless!
How did Jake pop the question?
Jake asked me opening day (9-10-2015) at Gilllette Stadium Patriots vs Steelers football game. It was half time and it was pouring rain, he asked me if I wanted to get food. My mom and step dad were there and he said let’s take a picture. I posed for the picture and Jake got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. By far best day ever!! Oh and by the way I am a Steelers fan and Jake a Patriots fan!
Walking down the aisle and the entire ceremony. It was everything I imagined and more! Being introduced for the first time was awesome along with first dance! Getting to have quality time together (husband and wife) during reception while we took photos was great because we were able to take the whole experience in !
Best day of my life!!!
Enjoy every moment because it flies by!
The best vendor we hired by far was our photographer ! Greg Moss went above and beyond throughout the whole process. Always cared about what we wanted! Very helpful, professional and great to work with. Pictures came out amazing!!!! Greg’s questionnaires helped organize everything. We met with him as well to go over the timeline. He was always available to go over everything.

Amanda and Nick’s Quabbin Engagement Photography
Hi everyone!
Let’s all give it up for one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever seen): Amanda and Nick!
Amanda told me all about how Nick and her met.
The two of us met while we both were working for Janine’s Frostee. I fed him a curly fry, and the rest is history.
She also filled me in on the proposal.
Nick proposed at Disney World, in front of Cinderella’s castle while we were there for the Very Merry Christmas party. Lucky for us, a Disney photographer caught the entire thing. It was so romantic – a memory I will always cherish..
Of course, she said Y-E-S!
Their wedding date is set for September 22, 2018. They will be getting married at the beautiful All Saints Church in Ware, Ma., and their reception will be at the Old Sturbridge Village. The Old Sturbridge Village is an amazing venue with tons of beautiful spots for their photos. They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!
What was your immediate thought/reaction when he or she asked for your hand in marriage?
I thought I would cry, but I was honestly so excited. I said yes immediately because I know there was no one else I’d rather spend the rest of my life with.
He proposed at Disney, which was a dream come true for me.
We choose the Quabbin because we both live in this area, and we’ve spent many dates there enjoying the beautiful scenery in our own town.
I bet you can feel the love through these photos.

Lynn and Tom’s Quabbin Engagement Session
Usually when the forecast says it is going to pour all day long we reschedule our engagement sessions. There is certainly some added challenges when photographing in the non stop pouring rain. Some of the extra items we needed to bring were towels and extra towels, umbrellas, covers for our lights.
I did wear a raincoat but made a note for the next session in similar conditions to wear my rain pants as we do what needs to be done to get the shot, and if that means lying on the ground then that’s what we do!
We were able to start inside the Quabbin Tower and stay dry for the beginning of the session which I am sure we all appreciated. When we headed outside Lynn and Tom were both real troopers and did whatever we asked to make their photos!
Let’s hear more about their engagement from Lynn:
How long did you date before you got engaged?
We had been dating for over 7 years when he FINALLY asked me to marry him!
What was the Date you got engaged?
December 31, 2016
What was your immediate thought/reaction when he or she asked for your hand in marriage?
I immediately said yes , then began to cry
Tell us about the ring/band. Please be as descriptive as possible.
White gold circle diamond with 6 prongs. The band has a twist on both sides which he chose because my promise ring he had given me years ago also had the same twist
When’s the wedding?
October 05, 2018
Thanks to Ryan Williams for getting drenched to the bone and helping out with this engagement session!

Lam and Ngoc’s wedding! Vietnamese Wedding photography in Boston Massachusetts.
What a full fun day we had photographing Lam and Ngoc’s wedding in Boston this past summer. Our Vietnamese wedding photography day started out early at their house with the gifts to the Ngoc’s family from Lam’s family. I enjoyed how important family was in all of the activities throughout the day.
Next the bride was presented to the groom and we had the first ceremony of the day starting with the readings and lighting of the candles. From there we moved into the Tea Ceremony with all the elders and family involved.
There were a lot of amazing events going on throughout the day, but if you love good food like I do then you would have appreciated the bountiful Vietnamese Brunch. The food all of the family and friends brought to the brunch was simply amazing. If I was not working I would have certainly overeating and needed a nap, but no time for naps on a wedding day!
After the brunch we had time for some bridal portraits of the morning outfits before they all got changed for the afternoon Catholic Mass. Then some great portraits of the Lam and Ngoc after they changed for the afternoon.
From there we all headed over to Saint Mary’s Parish for the second ceremony of the day. Ryan and I were able to take a short break after the afternoon ceremony and grab some Starbucks and refuel before the evening reception.
We then headed over to Hei-la moon restaurant for the reception. They had built a colorful backdrop to capture photos with all of their guests as they arrived. Once again the food was amazing and more than we could eat.
The master of ceremonies did an incredible job of making all of the announcements in both Vietnamese and English while maintaining her enthusiasm the whole time.
Thanks to Ryan Williams for second shooting this long day!
Now let’s check a few of the photos from the awesome wedding!
