Julie and Eric’s Twin Hills Country Club Wedding Photography.
What an amazing time we had at Julie and Eric’s wedding! They were blessed with a gorgeous day at Twin Hills Country Club.
I love sharing the story behind my couples weddings so let’s hear all about their experience from Julie.
Eric’s aunt and my mom are best friends. They had been trying to set us up for months then we finally met at his cousin’s baby shower and the rest is history.
It was New Years Eve and we were getting ready to go to my sisters house for dinner. According to Eric, I was taking too long to get ready and he asked me to come in the other room. He said he made me something and handed me a photo book filled with pictures of us. The last three pages/pictures were of of my niece and nephews where they were each holding a sign that said “will” “you” “marry” and the last page/picture was of Eric holding a sign that said “me”. I looked at him and he was on one knee…
Our first dance was on the eighteenth hole, our favorite moment was dancing and looking up at all of the guests watching and cheering us on!
Look at your photographer’s work before meeting with them but most importantly trust them, they know what they’re doing!
I went to Pearl Boutique in Holyoke, MA. I went in to try on a dress that I was trying to decide if it was the one. One of the ladies working suggested that I try on a certain dress as she felt it had everything I was looking for. Everyone, including me, was in awe of the dress.
Greg was awesome to work with. He was down to earth and easy to work with. We had a huge wedding party and he kept everyone in line which was much needed!
We made a day of schedule and shared it with our bridal party so they knew what was going on throughout our wedding day.
Here are some amazing wedding professionals that helped Julie and Eric’s day go flawlessly!

Kristina and Sean’s Lord Jeffery Inn Wedding Photography
Let’s hear from Kristina about their big day and the details of how they came to be together.
Sean and I met at one of my friend’s parties, just after I finished my first year of grad school. Neither one of us wanted to go out that night, but my friend convinced me and one of his friends dragged him along. We got to talking and hit it off right away. We didn’t even realize we were both single until the night was half over! He gave me his number and the rest is history.
Sean took me up to Howe Caverns in upstate New York. We had been talking about going for a while so I didn’t suspect anything. When we were at the Heart Stone, he dropped to one knee (I thought he tripped and fell, at first) and asked me to be his wife. We were the first cavern tour of the day so it was a small, intimate group that witnessed it.
Sean: Watching Kristina walk down the aisle to meet me.Kristina: Seeing Sean’s smile when he saw me for the first time. He was really adamant about not wanting a first look; he wanted to be surprised.
Kristina: I am not one that likes my picture taken. We had our engagement shoot with Greg, which I think was very helpful in getting me acclimated to both Greg and the camera; it gave me an idea of what to expect for the day of the wedding. Greg made me feel very comfortable just being myself and he found a way to capture every special moment without being intrusive. There were times I couldn’t even tell he was there, which took away some of my nervousness. He was also very patient with all of the family members that wanted to get in on the action. Greg was absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a photographer!
Venue: The Lord Jeffery Inn, Amherst MA – Amanda, Jeff, Sarah, and the rest of the team at the Lord Jeff were absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. Everything was coordinated beautifully, and the kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate our guests’ food allergies.Hair: John Allen, Salon Bocage, Chicopee MAMakeup: Becka Ciecko, Break For Beauty – The Spa at Salon Bocage, Chicopee MA: Becky is AMAZING and I highly recommend her for any makeup needs. I wanted a very natural look for the wedding, and she hit the nail right on the head.Wedding planner: Kristen Muszynski, Events By Kristen: From the engagement to the day of, Kristen was there to help keep us on track, provide input on colors, decor, timeline, and more, manage phone calls and contacts, and she helped keep us calm throughout the whole process.

Chez Josef Wedding Photography with Shannon and Kevin
Welcome back to my blog, we have another spectacular wedding for you! Today we are bringing you the winner of the 2018 Marx Dream Wedding, Shannon, and Kevin.
Let’s find out about their amazing Chez Josef Wedding Photography!
My brother had just purchased his first home so we were there visiting/celebrating. My whole family was there and as we were all hanging out in the same room Kevin handed my dad his phone and told him to record. He got down on one knee and proposed. It was perfect.
Everything was perfect!! Although we were so nervous that we forgot our first dance, it was still one of my favorite moments. Seeing Kevin for the first time before I came down the stairs just made my heart pound, it was amazing!! I remember at one point I sat back and looked around at everyone who was there. They were laughing and smiling, dancing and drinking, and having so much fun. It just took my breath away, they were all there to celebrate us.
You will not have much time to mingle so one thing we did to make sure we were able to thank each and every person for being there was go around to each table while the dinner salad was served and give everybody a hug, said thank you’s and what not. That way once everybody had their dinner they were able to just sit down and eat. Enjoy every little second because it goes by way too fast! Also be prepared with things for your child (if you have a toddler). Our three year old was overwhelmed with the whole experience, if we did not invite some other little friends for her to play with it would have been horrible. She ended up having a fantastic night once she could just be with her little friends. So that is one thing, if you have a toddler that you plan on having in your wedding be sure that you have other toddlers coming and arrange for an early departure for them.
If you have a little toddler that you plan on having in the photos be prepared for them to not want to cooperate. I am a bit sad that my daughter was having a hard time but very glad that we got her in a few photos. If you are having a night wedding definitely do outdoor photos once it is dark. We had such a great time taking these photos And they looked AMAZING!!
I found it at the Bridal and Tux Boutique in Miller’s falls Ma. I tried on so many dresses and this one just gave me that feeling that you can’t deny. I knew it was the dress but I knew I needed to add a personal touch. I had the little shoulder Sleeves made for it and tule added underneath to give the bottom a bit more drama. When I put this dress on right before I walked down the aisle I almost lost it, in a good way. My knees buckled, it was absolutely perfect!
It was so incredible working with you! We are so lucky to have had you as our photographer. You’re so talented and passionate about what you do and it shows. You went above and beyond in capturing our special day, we were both so blown away! I could not stop smiling when I saw you photographing us all dancing together, these memories are so special and now we have them to look at for the rest of our life. Thank you and your partner Leslie so much for all your hard work , we look forward to working with you again in the future.
- Bridal and tux boutique is where I got my wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, and veil. Danielle, the owner, was absolutely amazing! She bent over backward to make sure we had exactly what we wanted and everything ready in time, I highly recommend her1
All of the vendors we worked with were so great. Chez Josef, where the ceremony and reception were held was perfect. The food was so good and the space was incredible! The entire staff was incredible and we needed nothing! Marx entertainment made this whole wedding possible. The Dj was fantastic and kept the whole place rocking all night. The photo booth with props was such a hit also. They provided everyone a photo strip to take home and one for a wedding guest book, it was awesome! Tanya Costigan, our wedding planner was a dream, we couldn’t have done it without her. She pulled everything together so perfectly, I have no complaints only compliments. Pops biscotti did such delicious chocolates, tre olive donated olive oils for favors that everyone loved, deluxe limo was gorgeous and so much fun, bill from center square grill donated an entire rehearsal dinner for 20 of us that was phenomenal….I could go on and on all night talking about our vendors. We are beyond grateful for everything and would be happy to share more if you have any specific questions for us about any of them!

One of the best things you can do to enjoy your wedding day is nearly impossible. Sleep.
This super important beauty sleep escapes most brides not only the night before the big day, but also the entire week. With so much to do and so little time, it’s not surprising that the magical mix of stress and excitement is a perfect caffeine cocktail.
If you want to wake up on the right side of the bed the morning of your wedding day, here are a few tips on how to fall asleep when you’re having trouble.
1. Make a list
You’re doing this already in your mind, so why not put it on paper? Writing it down takes the responsibility off of your brain and puts it on paper, giving your poor head a break and the opportunity to relax. Keep a pen a paper by your bed. Pen and paper, not your phone. Even if you open your phone to jot down notes, you’ll likely end up getting distracted.
2. Do Not Disturb
Speaking of your phone, either turn it off or silence notifications. I like the Do Not Disturb feature on mine. In addition, try to limit night phone activity to before you get in bed. I know we all look at our phones in bed, but this week, break up the cycle to get to sleep faster.
One of the easiest things you can do when you’re lying down is breathe. I use this trick when I am meditating and it allows for the stress to melt away and to focus on your breath. Simply take three, deep breathes in a row, holding them at the top, and slowly exhaling. This will send messages to your brain that it’s time for a snooze.
4. Go Natural
I get that you’re likely doing all of these things and are hoping for some chemical aid. Skip the wine, because while wine makes you sleepy, it doesn’t lead to a solid night’s rest. Instead, try an all herbal, non-addictive solution like SomaLunex or Valerian Root that adds a little muscle relaxing as well. Both will help you fall asleep and stay asleep.
